What Does It Cost to Record?

Basic Beefbreeder recording fees 01 April 2022 – 31 March 2023 are as follows:

• Annual fee of £140 per breeder plus £5 per cow
• Ultrasound scanning undertaken by Signet technicians is charged at £6 per head (minimum visit fee of £175 and a maximum visit fee of £500) ** see update for 01 May 2023 below
• Scanning fees charged by other AHDB accredited scanners may vary

** From 01 May 2023 

• Ultrasound scanning undertaken by Signet technicians will be charged at £7 per head (minimum visit fee of £200)

Additional Data Analysis Fee

Breeders in England, Scotland and Wales – full fee covered by levy (AHDB Beef and Lamb, QMS and HCC)
Breeders in Northern Ireland and overseas – £95/herd
